‘Dadcat on a Rug’ is a flat sculpture ,that is a little like a modelled painting. It was made in a red clay and then decorated in bright earthenware glazes, the glaze ran a little too much, so the bottom left corner had to be ground down slightly (see last 3 pictures), it is nice and smooth and doesn’t really impact the sculpture’s appearance
…..but perhaps most importantly, it is a portrait of the legend himself..Dadcat! Your chance to own a part of feline mythology…but you’ll need to be quick, I have a feeling this one will be popular!’
