‘Ceramics can be so frustrating at times. When this pig and tree emerged from the kiln, I was delighted with the colours and the lovely shiny earthenware glaze, unusually it exactly matched what I had hoped it would be! Sadly on closer inspection that lovely glaze had also bubbled in one or two places (in this one , on the ‘tree’). I still think it’s a good piece….just not ‘perfect’ in its glaze finish.
