‘Another sculpture that fits the title of this exhibition, ’Works that Stayed’’. “Herring Gull on a Post” has become a firm fixture, high on a shelf in my workshop. He doesn’t travel or is exhibited, just looks out of my window at the garden. It is time to release him, he needs new views….somewhere near the sea perhaps?

Materials - high fired ceramic and wood
Signed or stamped with makers mark.
