'Windy Day'- Lino Print
This large, hand painted lino print is too big to go through my printing press! The only way I can make it is by lightly dampening the paper before placing it on the inked lino plate, and ‘burnishing’ the back of the paper to pick up the inked image. It’s slow work, but very satisfying as you peel back the paper to check how well the image is picking up the ink.
I always like windy weather. It seems to send some animals, birds and people slightly wild and scatty!

These prints are individually handprinted by Jeremy James, they are printed on heavy, acid free 'Somerset' or 'Fabriano' printing paper. They are supplied securely, rolled or flat packed. it is possible that colours will vary slightly from those illustrated.
