‘There have been numerous reports of Eagle Owls living wild in various places in the UK- possibly escaped captives or even theories that some have migrated from over the North Sea. In fact a neighbour of mine swore blind he had a very large owl that visited his garden regularly that frightened his dogs so much they wouldn’t even go out! Whatever is the truth, they are amazing birds. This one is ceramic of course, but attached to a found piece of oak…..perfect for displaying in a high position to gaze down on you.’
