‘Works that Stayed’

  • a small preview

‘The Red Dress’- available 2nd April, 6.00pm.

‘The Red Dress’

“The Red Dress”, is a substantial work that requires space to be fully appreciated. Modeled in black clay and accented with steel wire and a gold bird, it was one of the first in a series of large Tang‑style horses with female riders, evoking a quietly uncanny, magical narrative. As an early piece in the series, it explores varied surfaces, colours and finishes, making this example entirely unique and a standout addition to any collection.’
